Reason for prompt's name: As most of you might know, Bergentruckung is a soundtrack in the game Undertale, used for the character Asgore. It also refers to the King in the Mountain/ Sleeping Hero fairytale trope, where a figure remains dormant until the day he is needed.

"Don't close your eyes: Your fate has always had fangs and now they're bare!"

~*~

Your character is the current heir to the throne. You live in one of the most prestigious kingdoms that has survived the worst of the worst. Your kingdom has triumphed through battles, developed powerful alliances and indulged in a glorious age of golden peace ever since the success of the Great War. You can have your character be of any species, any background, anything else and even if they have terrible ties with their family they have never had to experience poverty or a feeling of helplessness. Perhaps they were alone as a child, perhaps they were overly stressed, the choice is yours in that. One day, one normal day, a beast from the sky comes down and rains hellfire onto the kingdom: your best men are able to thwart it off, but they cannot kill it. The only hope is for you to make it up the mountains and call forth Ash (my character): the hero from the Great War, who has been dormant until now. By the time you reach the mountain you find them awake. It takes some talking but your character is able to convince Ash to help. Ash is able to destroy the beast in time for a prophet to alert the kingdom that a darkness is coming to bring forth the war of the century. With Ash, the fight shouldn’t be too much of a calamity: but the problem lies that Ash wants nothing to do with it. In fact, Ash longs for nothing more than for the kingdom to burn and everyone in it to suffer. They refuse to talk to anyone: anyone but you. In fact, you’re the only one they’ll talk to. They will talk to you, listen to you, be only with you. With this bizarre relationship, the kingdom wants you to use this to your advantage: win Ash’s trust and friendship so they’ll fight for you. It sounds like a good plan, but as the days go by you start to learn more about the history of the kingdom, the history of Ash, the history of the war. People have been lying to you and rewriting history so that the truth is covered in lies, burying itself into the ears of all, making them deaf to reason. As the future heir it will be your choice that rules over all, but will you be able to make it? Just what is the truth, who is Ash and what is this darkness that has been itching to swallow the land hole for nearly a thousand years? Careful, finding out the truth might not only alter the fates but lead to a tragic ending...

*Character details may vary since in this roleplay Ash can be either a guy or a girl

Name: Ashley Von Willenskraft
Gender: Depends on the roleplay
Age: Unknown, but their physical appearance is early twenties
Height: As a boy he is 5’10 but as a girl she’s 5’5
Species: N/A, in the roleplay it’ll be revealed

Description: As a boy Ash is lean and aloof, wearing clothes that are always too sizes too big on him, even when in proper attire. His hair is pure white and always in a mess, the tips barely touching his shoulders. His eyes are icy blue and his skin is pale, the dark bags under his eyes being his most predominant feature. He is gruffly by nature and it reflects on his voice: rough due to the lack of usage on his behalf, which will happen if you remain silent for almost a thousand years. His attire changes constantly but he is very against wearing shoes, so his feet are always present, skin calloused. As a girl, she is more tidy. Her hair is much longer, falling down to her lower back (usually tied back by ribbon) and her face is free from any signs of sleep depravity. While a girl should be dressed proper and wear long dresses and jewelry Ash is not girly at all. She prefers male attire because it’s easier to fight in but if it’s hot out she’ll substitute her pants for a short skirt and her shoes for boots. Her voice is bubbly and the type that can be heard from miles away. Regardless of gender, Ash always wears the crest of Your Character’s family, indicating their loyalty.

Personality: As a male Ash is very lazy and uncaring. He would much rather waste the day sleeping than do anything productive. He isn’t quick to anger but when he is angry then his wrath is akin to that of hell itself. He doesn’t wear his heart on his sleeve: choosing to hide his feelings and play it off as though nothing is wrong, but if he trusts you enough then he’ll confess when he’s bothered or let you know when he’s happy. As a girl she’s the exact opposite: loud and diligent. If Ash is bothered by something then you’ll be the first to know, she doesn’t like hiding her feelings. If she’s sad she will cry, if she’s happy she will smile, if she’s mad she will yell. Regardless of gender, Ash also possesses these traits: Loyal, anxious, bad-tempered- clingy, if they trust you then they’ll lay down their life for you. You will soon learn that Ash is especially clingy towards you.

Likes: anything small and furry, food, sleep (male), music, singing (female), bodies of water, etc.

Dislikes: Liars, doing work (male), loud storms (female), fire, the kingdom, broccoli, etc.

Theme song: Darkest Part by Red

Things to keep in mind:

I did create the basis of the plot but I am, by no means, the one in control. A roleplay is a conjoint effort: I just brought forth the idea. Your character is your own, as well as the events that unfold. We can discuss possibilities via notes. Also, we will have two main characters, but don't feel limited to just one character. I am plot before anything else and a good roleplay/story can be between two characters, but it can get pretty boring.

I am not picky when it comes to response length. I am not expecting paragraphs worth of responses; creativity can be fickle and should never be forced. Just try to match whatever I do, however, if I write a REALLY long response then don't feel obligated to write the same amount, especially if it's just word vomit. The same goes if I write a lot: don't just give me a one sentence response, there's nothing I can work with out of one sentence. Try to write at least a paragraph or two.I'm also not a grammar nazi, typos happen to everyone, who knows there might be a few in this very post, however I am a roleplayer who writes in full sentences and in third person. I cannot roleplay in any-other format.

Don't worry about being overly active. Real life should always come first, which is why I prefer 1x1 roleplays. I have a busy life but I can guarantee at least one response per day, if not every other day, depending on the time of year. Sometimes it's much more. After a prompt is taken I will "close" it so that it's only between me and another person: If you're unable to be active for a certain amount of time, then simply let me know and I'll wait. If you don't let me know and it's been over a month, I'll assume you've dropped it and reopen the prompt.

This post won't be labeled as mature since nothing is really mature in this, only a sumamry of a prompt. However, this will be my "mature" section, for this post. Plot will always come first for me but I'm all up for writing smut. I am a perverted person who can't go a day without making an innuendo or referencing something sexual. Smut with meaning and smut just for the sake of having sex, I'm fine with either and I can roleplay anything that doesn't involve bathroom play or illegal means (if you need clarification then send me a note). However, I do ask that if the roleplay takes a sexual route, do not force my character to be the Seme/Uke. I cannot fathom how I hate that. I've been in roleplays and individuals like to force a role onto others and it has run its course with me: if we are giving labels then I, in real life, am a switch and I make my characters switches also. They switch the control, switch the position, leave room for growth and detail. If you want a Seme/Uke relationship then there would have to be two characters involved- each of us playing a Seme/Top and an Uke/Bottom so there isn't an imbalance within that.

Be mature. I tend to write about adult topics (since I, myself, am 18+) so I ask that you be that too and are open to development. However, as much as I do enjoy angst I don't want a roleplay that's solely based off of angst. That can get repetitive as well: there needs to be a mix. Angst, fluff, humor, anything and everything.
Uh.

Well.

That's all I have to say in regards to this. I only respond/roleplay through notes, skype and/or email so if you're interested in this prompt (or any of my prompts) then feel free to send a note to start off. Also, if you don't find any of my prompts interesting but would like to roleplay regardless, then yeah, send a note. I only bite with consent~.
