Roleplay Prompt: Entropy

Reason for name: The definition of Entropy involves the concept of randomness and instability, which is exactly what I intend to happen here.

Technology has become the center of human life. You cannot go anywhere without a cell phone, something that now has your entire life stored in it. Robots are common within households and time is ticking away at an abnormally fast pace. Life is hardly boring and everyone is busy with the chores. So in a time where everything is technologically advanced you'd imagine that everyone could use a helping hand? Because of life's speedy agenda it has become mandatory for a child, when they reach the age of 13, are taken to their city's Courthouse and have a bit of their mind torn from them, molding it into a second persona. The persona looks similar to the original and they are treated as pets, siblings, teammates, it all depends on the original's mindset. They are referred as Images. Images not only live by your side but they're also able to manifest themselves in electrical currents, sneaking through wires and hacking systems.That is common when viruses infect a system, thus Images are used to clean them out. YC has a strong Image whom they use to help around the house, run some errands, even play video games. YC has their Image sneak into a system, only to bump into Chibi, MC's Image. Chibi is childish, stubborn, rude and prone to innuendos, not afraid to blow shit up and disobey. What turns out as an unfortunate meeting ends with the Images working together to clean out some powerful viruses, viruses that were send from a specific source to take control of the city and destroy it. YC gets involved with something beyond the normal and ends up having to work with MC Asya, a man who lives from his house and never leaves unless it's absolutely necessary. He's blunt and neutral, saying things without thinking and his outlook on life makes him appear apathetic, but in reality he just has horrible communication skills. The two of you will have to work together and figure out who's responsible with sending those viruses, as well as learning how to get along with a man who can't sense sarcasm and has a personality as dry as they come.

Name: Asya Nevermore

Species: Human

Description: Asya is a tall individual with bad posture: he slouches wherever he sits and when he stands he’s always hunched forward. His hair is black and curly, long enough to reach his upper back (which he usually keeps tied in a ponytail, but strands always end up falling in front of his face). He always wears a tired expression even when he’s well rested, his predominant feature being his bright, blue eyes that always have a sparkle in them even when he remains silent. His skin is pale and his face is scruffy, a five o’clock shadow present on his features, the stubs standing out around his skin. His voice is rough, scratchy-sounding and his fingers are long and bony. Asya changes his attire so there’s no pinpoint style that he has, but regardless of what he wears he always wears a lab goat with pockets big enough to keep his hands shoved deep in them, where he keeps a die in it so he can play with it when he gets nervous.

Personality: Asya can be depicted as socially awkward. He’s a hermit who only ever leaves his house if it’s absolutely necessary: for groceries and medicine. Everything else is purchased online so he has no reason to leave the house, given he works from his home. This lack of contact from other people has led for Asya to possess some strange behaviors and an anxious persona. One moment he will be saying some incoherent rambles but the next moment he will say something insightful and logical. He works with computers so he’s not an idiot, but aren’t the really intelligent people the ones who lack the most common sense? With this roleplay Asya will undergo some major character change, especially with his behaviors, but other than his strange nature Asya is not a bad guy. He’s someone who will take your side even if he disagrees with you. He’s a hard headed guy but if you get on his good side you’ll see that Asya is loyal, stubborn, ambitious, aims high and is as unpredictable as they come. It’s just a shame that he takes things too literally.

Likes: Chibi, Ramen, TV shows (typically anime since it’s all he and Chibi can watch without arguing), Star-gazing, streaming the internet, cuddling, being wrapped in any kind of warmth

Gender: Male

Age: He’s technically 27 since he’s a part of Asya, but his form is 14

Height: 4’11

Species: Image/Virtual Reality being

Description: Chibi is the opposite of Asya: he’s small and is always seen with a cocky grin on his face. He loves causing chaos and can’t go a day without being disruptive: whether it’s saying something perverted or flipping a poor girl’s skirt up, he likes to cause discord. He’s small and has the same black hair as Asya but it’s straight and shorter, barely past the ears and it’s never brushed. Unlike Asya, Chibi has dark circles around his eyes because he always stays up late playing video games or binging on anime. He’s always clothed in a white sweatshirt with a chullo that has bunny ears on them, along with grey sweatpants and obnoxiously red sneakers. His voice is high pitched and his hands, along with the rest of him, is tiny so he has a habit of getting angry when people look down on him.

Personality: Chibi is the embodiment of the wondrous thing known as the Napoleon Complex: if you so much as mention his short stature then you will never hear the end of it. Most Images are small but Chibi is exceptional and it’s because of that he has such a loud and domineering personality: think of him as a chihuahua. He’s very animated: if he’s mad then he’ll scream and if he’s sad he will cry. You will never have to guess how he’s feeling: you’ll be the first to know if he’s upset or happy. Chibi has such an upfront personality that he can come across as rude and overbearing, but Chibi does care. Deep down. If you’re upset then he’ll corner and won’t leave you alone until you tell him what’s wrong, he’ll demand your attention, thinking he’s helping. If you want to be his friend then you’re going to have to be open and not afraid of calling him out on his childish antics: but that’s okay, it’s people like you he respects the most. Chibi is also very perverted- making offhanded comments that usually earns him a slap or kick from Asya, constantly.

Likes: Asya, Anime, internet, drawing, anything that’s trending on the internet, candy, etc

Dislikes: Liars, cowards, anyone who makes fun of his height, exercise and anything healthy, etc.

Things to keep in mind:

I did create the basis of the plot but I am, by no means, the one in control. A roleplay is a conjoint effort: I just brought forth the idea. Your character is your own, as well as the events that unfold. We can discuss possibilities via notes. Also, we will have two main characters, but don't feel limited to just one character. I am plot before anything else and a good roleplay/story can be between two characters, but it can get pretty boring.

I am not picky when it comes to response length. I am not expecting paragraphs worth of responses; creativity can be fickle and should never be forced. Just try to match whatever I do, however, if I write a REALLY long response then don't feel obligated to write the same amount, especially if it's just word vomit. The same goes if I write a lot: don't just give me a one sentence response, there's nothing I can work with out of one sentence. Try to write at least a paragraph or two.I'm also not a grammar nazi, typos happen to everyone, who knows there might be a few in this very post, however I am a roleplayer who writes in full sentences and in third person. I cannot roleplay in any-other format.

Don't worry about being overly active. Real life should always come first, which is why I prefer 1x1 roleplays. I have a busy life but I can guarantee at least one response per day, if not every other day, depending on the time of year. Sometimes it's much more. After a prompt is taken I will "close" it so that it's only between me and another person: If you're unable to be active for a certain amount of time, then simply let me know and I'll wait. If you don't let me know and it's been over a month, I'll assume you've dropped it and reopen the prompt.

Plot will always come first for me but I'm all up for writing smut. I am a perverted person who can't go a day without making an innuendo or referencing something sexual. Smut with meaning and smut just for the sake of having sex, I'm fine with either and I can roleplay anything that doesn't involve bathroom play or illegal means (if you need clarification then send me a note). However, I do ask that if the roleplay takes a sexual route, do not force my character to be the Seme/Uke. I cannot fathom how I hate that. I've been in roleplays and individuals like to force a role onto others and it has run its course with me: if we are giving labels then I, in real life, am a switch and I make my characters switches also. They switch the control, switch the position, leave room for growth and detail. If you want a Seme/Uke relationship then there would have to be two characters involved- each of us playing a Seme/Top and an Uke/Bottom so there isn't an imbalance within that. Also, in regards to this prompt, CHIBI WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN ANY SMUT. He's meant to be a deuteragonist/supporting character, not to mention he's a child. If smut is to be involved with him then it would have to be when he's 18+ but even then we could add another character in the mix, since Chibi is meant to be a supporting character.

Now, this prompt is meant to be more of a comical one. Humor and ridiculousness, even cringe-worthy stuff. But, even that, I still will ask that you be mature. I tend to write about adult topics (since I, myself, am 18+) so I ask that you be that too and are open to development. However, as much as I do enjoy angst I don't want a roleplay that's solely based off of angst. That can get repetitive as well: there needs to be a mix. Angst, fluff, humor, anything and everything.
